Just seconds from each of our West Virginia fly-fishing cabins is our private access stream. All guests have access to private access trophy trout fly-fishing during the fall. This private area offers scenic, uninterrupted fly-fishing during the fall.

FREE Private Stream Access

Harman’s private access stream stretches for 2 miles along the North Fork River, and guests have free access to this hotbed for trophy trout fishing. Angling has never had a better view—the private stream is surrounded by lush forest and magnificent natural wonders. Guests are also not too far from some of the best trout streams in West Virginia.

Excellent Trout Fishing

Starting in September, the North Fork River is loaded with trophy trout fish. The stream is reloaded with trophy trout in October and November. The opportunity to get that prized catch is in your favor, making for a perfect fly-fishing getaway with friends or the family. Our typical fall schedule for loading trophy trout fish is as follows:

September – Labor Day weekend or early month
October – Early month and mid-month
November – Early month and mid-month

Forgot something at home? Need a rental? No problem! The experienced staff at Harman’s Fly Fish Shop is here to assist you with your needs. The shop features several necessities and accessories including fly-fishing rods, Simms boots and waders, Fishpond vests, other gear, flies, and more.
